General Information
American Citizen Services - Introduction
The chief mission of the Consular section at Embassy Khartoum is to assist American citizens. Consular Officers are prepared to assist their fellow citizens in a number of ways, such as providing federal tax forms, replacing U.S. passports, registering the birth abroad of American citizens, providing notarial services, and providing extra passport pages. There are, however, some things they cannot do. For example, a Consular Officer can neither perform marriages nor obtain the release of Americans from prison.
