USAID Delivers Mosquito Nets to Kassala Hospital
In early August, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) delivered 200 mosquito nets to Kassala Teaching Hospital in Kassala State, eastern Sudan. The hospital administration accepted the donation and thanked the U.S. delegation for supporting the hospital's staff and the health of its patients.

Embassy Opens Information Resource Center
The U.S. Embassy in Khartoum opened its Information Resource Center to the public on August 13, 2008. The center will provide students, academics, journalists, and others a place to research topics such as the United States, current events, and history.
